Friends and family gathered for Amy and Patrick's fabulous four-day celebration in Galveston

"We thought a Galveston wedding would be more vacation-friendly then the fast-paced environment of Houston," Amy explains. After margaritas and Mexican food on Thursday and seafood and harbor views on Friday, they celebrated their wedding with 110 guests.

Amy wore a beaded white halter sheath by Demetrios.

The bridesmaids wore two-piece strapless gowns by Bill Levkoff.

Patrick‘s cousin, Monsignor James Matteo, who had married Patrick‘s three siblings, flew in from Philadelphia to preside over the couple‘s St. Mary‘s Cathedral Basilica ceremony.

Father Matteo said a blessing and then guests enjoyed a three-course dinner and wedding cake. As a special touch, a picture of Amy‘s parents on their wedding day was placed beside the wedding cake, and a photo from Patrick‘s parents‘ wedding day was placed next to the groom‘s cake.

When Amy Ramsell saw a cute guy at a club in 1996, she never thought he would become her husband. But exactly seven years after setting eyes on Patrick Furey that night, they tied the knot in a four-day coastal celebration.
